Auto phone tests, also called Timer or Periodic Tests, help verify that a system is communicating and that the monitoring station is receiving signals. The process is different from panel to panel, and can be programmed from different ways.

If the monitoring station is not receiving auto phone tests, see Monitoring station not receiving Auto Phone Tests.

Compatibility

The Qolsys IQ Panel 2 can be set to auto phone tests on the following intervals: Never, WeeklyMonthly, or Daily. For the daily 24-hour periodic panel test interval, the panel must be on firmware version 2.3.0+.
