To configure the lack of usage signal period using the Partner Portal: 

1. Log into the Partner Portal.
2. Find the customer account.
3. Click Remote Toolkit.
4. In Command Catalog, click to expand Timers.
5. Click Q29: Enter CS lack of usage notification time, in days (0-255).
6. In the New Value field, enter the desired period in days.
   
   Note: Entering the value 0 turns this feature off so no lack of usage signal is sent to the monitoring station. 
    
7. Click Change.

To configure the lack of usage signal period using MobileTech: 

1. Log into MobileTech.
2. Find the customer account.
3. Tap Remote Toolkit.
4. Tap Command Catalog.
5. Tap to expand Timers. 
6. Tap Q29: Enter CS lack of usage notification time, in days (0-255).
7. In the New Value field, enter the desired period in days.
   
   Note: Entering the value 0 turns this feature off so no lack of usage signal is sent to the monitoring station. 
    
8. Tap Change.

To configure the lack of usage signal period using the panel: 

1. Tap System Settings. 
2. Enter the installer code. 
3. Tap Installer Toolbox. 
4. Tap System Configuration. 
5. Tap Panel Programming. 
6. Tap Go to. 
7. Tap 29 to navigate to Q29: Enter CS lack of usage notification time, in days (0-255). 
8. Enter the desired period in days.
   
   Note: Entering the value 0 turns this feature off so no lack of usage signal is sent to the monitoring station. 
    
9. Once complete, tap Return To System Configuration.
