Qolsys IQ Panel 2 – Auto Bypass & Remote Arming

Overview

On the Qolsys IQ Panel 2, you can remotely arm the system from the Customer Website or app even when a contact is open or a sensor shows trouble (tamper, low battery, offline, etc.). The remote arming command will automatically bypass any zones that would prevent arming.

Note: You cannot choose a specific sensor to bypass from the app/website—remote arming simply bypasses what’s necessary. A motion sensor that merely activated recently is not bypassed when arming away.

What Auto Bypass Affects

Auto Bypass is a panel setting that affects local arming at the keypad. Remote arming will auto-bypass open/tampered sensors regardless of the Auto Bypass setting. For instructions on bypassing zones directly at the panel, see the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 User Guide.
