Enable or disable auto stay on a 2GIG GoControl
print icon

The auto stay feature is a way for panels to prevent false alarms. If arming locally, the customer must exit through an entry/exit sensor during the exit delay in order to have the panel arm away. Otherwise, it always reverts to arm stay. This is not the case when arming from an app or keyfob.

To configure auto stay locally using the 2GIG GoControl panel:

  1. Tap Security.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Toolbox.
  4. Enter the installer code.
  5. Tap Installer Toolbox.
  6. Tap System Configuration.
  7. Tap Go To, then enter [26].
  8. Tap [1] to enable, or [0] to disable auto stay.
  9. Tap End.
  10. Verify the settings, then tap to select Save Changes.
  11. Tap Exit. The system reboots to save the changes.

To configure auto stay using the Partner Portal:

Note: It is recommended to disarm the panel before making any panel programming changes.

  1. Log into the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. Click Remote Toolkit.
  4. In the Command Catalog, click to expand Arming Settings.
  5. Click Q26: Select auto stay (0 to 1).
  6. Using the New value dropdown menu, select either (1) enable or (0) disable.
  7. Click Change.
