2GIG GoControl - Sensor Restorals

Sensor restorals are sent if a sensor triggers an alarm and is then closed or reset before the system is disarmed.

Important: Sensor restorals are forwarded only if the sensor is closed before disarming the panel. If the panel is disarmed with the sensor open, then the sensor is closed after disarming, a restoral is not forwarded since disarming resolves the issue presented.

For trouble restorals, a restoral is forwarded when the trouble condition has been resolved. Trouble conditions that would forward a restoral include a low battery, power failure, loss of panel communication, and sensor trouble.

Settings required for restorals to forward

For sensor restorals to forward to the monitoring station, Cancels must be selected as an Event To Forward in the customer's monitoring settings on the Partner Portal. The cancel report and the sensor restoral are sent at the same time only if the sensor is closed before disarm.  If the sensor is still open after disarm, the cancel report sends but not the sensor restoral.

Note: If a panic signal is sent using the 2GIG panel keypad buttons, the system only sends a cancel signal to the monitoring station when the system is disarmed. A restoral signal is not forwarded to the monitoring station.

For a trouble condition restoral to forward to the monitoring station, Trouble Restorals must be selected as an Event To Forward in the customer's monitoring settings on the Partner Portal. If only trouble restorals are selected as events to forward but not cancels, a restoral does not forward on a sensor alarm.

No additional settings are needed within the panel or UL/DL settings for restorals to forward.
