How to Factory Reset the Alarm.com ADC-V522IR Camera
Resetting your Alarm.com video camera restores it to factory defaults, removing all prior programming and memory. This process is useful for troubleshooting or preparing the camera for reinstallation.
Important Note
Wait at least two minutes for the video device to fully power on before performing the reset procedure. If the device is still powering on, the factory reset may fail.
Reset Procedure
- Locate the WPS/Reset button on the back of the camera.
- Press and hold the button for 10–15 seconds until the LED alternates flashing red and green.
- Release the button and wait for the device to reboot.
- After reset, the ADC-V522IR reverts to Access Point mode (indicated by a blinking white LED).
