Qolsys IQ Panel 2 – Panel Tamper Troubleshooting
When a panel tamper occurs on a Qolsys IQ Panel 2, the system announces the alert and the trouble condition is displayed on Alarm.com. The tamper switch is a black button located on the bottom-left side of the back of the panel.
How to Resolve a Panel Tamper
- Affix the backplate securely onto the panel.
- Verify that the black tamper button is pressed down.
- Once the tamper is restored, request an updated equipment list to confirm that the trouble condition is cleared.
Note: If the tamper trouble condition persists after troubleshooting, contact Alarm.com CORE Technical Support or reach out to True Protection Support.
