Z-Wave light statuses can be viewed from the Partner Portal, MobileTech app, Customer Website, and Customer app. For more information about how light status works with Alarm.com, see How does Z-Wave light status work?.
Certain panel or module firmware versions are required to have the ability to view light statuses on Z-Wave lights. For more information about requirements to view light statuses, see What are the panel and module requirements to view Z-Wave light status?.
Note: If the status shows as Offline, verify the Z-Wave light is plugged in, powered on, and still functioning properly. For more information about troubleshooting Z-Wave device malfunctions, see Z-Wave device is in malfunction or offline.
To view light statuses using the Customer Website:
- Log into the Customer Website.
- On the Lights card, click .
- On the Lights page, each light has its own status and states if the device is On or Off.
- indicates the light is on.
- indicates the light is off.
- indicates the light device may be offline.
To view light statuses using the Customer app:
- Log into the Customer app.
- Navigate to the Lights section of the app, either from:
- The home screen:
- Flick to scroll to the Lights card, then tap to go to the Lights section of the app.
- The menu option:
- Tap .
- Tap Lights.
- The home screen:
- On the Lights page:
- The light is on if is highlighted as shown in the following image.
- The light is off if is highlighted as shown in the following image.
- If the light on and light off buttons are greyed out, the light device may be offline.
- The light is on if is highlighted as shown in the following image.
