Enable or Disable Auto Stay on a Qolsys IQ Panel 2
print icon

The auto stay feature is a way for panels to prevent false alarms. If arming locally, the customer must exit through an entry/exit sensor during the exit delay in order to have the panel arm away. Otherwise, it always reverts to arm stay. This is not the case when arming from an app or keyfob.

To configure auto stay locally using the Qolsys IQ Panel 2:

  1. Flick down to open the menu, then tap Settings.
  2. Tap Advanced Settings
  3. Enter the installer code or dealer code.
  4. Tap Installation
  5. Tap Security and Arming
  6. In Arming, verify that the Auto Stay feature is selected to indicate that it is enabled.
  7. Tap the back arrow to save and exit.

To configure auto stay using the Partner Portal:

It is recommended to disarm the panel before making any panel programming changes.

  1. Log into the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. Click Remote Toolkit.
  4. In the Command Catalog, click to expand Arming Settings.
  5. Click Auto Stay.
  6. Using the New value dropdown menu, select either On to enable or Off to disable.
  7. Tap Change.

To configure auto stay using the MobileTech app:
