Lutron device name keeps reverting back to the original name after being changed on the Customer Website

Lutron devices must be renamed using the Lutron app or website, and then an updated Lutron equipment list must be requested using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app. 

 

To change a Lutron device name: 

  1. Change the device name using the Lutron app or website. For more information about how to change device names using the Lutron app or website, contact Lutron. 
  2. Request a new Lutron equipment list using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app. This is required for the name to successfully update.
    • To request an updated Lutron equipment list:
      1. Log into the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.
      2. Find the customer accounts.
      3. Click Equipment.
      4. Click Lutron.
      5. Click Get Equipment List.
