The firmware of an Alarm.com Smart Thermostat can be found locally on the thermostat, on the box, or on the Partner Portal.
Note: To update the firmware of an Alarm.com Smart Thermostat, it must be replaced with a new one at this time.
To find the firmware locally on the thermostat:
ADC-T3000
- Press the button.
- Select ABOUT.
- Select VERSION.
Note: When looking for the general firmware of the thermostat, refer to the MFW version.
ADC-T2000
- Put the thermostat into OFF mode.
- Press and hold the button until the display changes from the temperature to a version number (e.g., 1.20, 1.30, 1.50, etc.)
- Press the button again to cycle to the version number indicated with the / icons.
Caution: The version indicated with the icon is not the firmware of the thermostat.
To find the firmware on the box:
The box the thermostat came in will indicate the thermostat version that was flashed at the factory. It is labeled as FWV.
To determine the firmware based on configuration options:
Note: These instructions only apply to the ADC-T2000.
- Log into the Partner Portal.
- Find the customer account.
- Click Equipment.
- Click Z-Wave Devices.
- In the Z-Wave Devices table, locate the row with the thermostat, then click to expand it.
- Click Device Commands.
- Click Configure Device.
- Click the Installer tab.
- Verify which Configurable Z Terminal options are available:
- 1.20: W3 (Third Stage)
- 1.30: W3 (Third Stage), O/B Zoning
- 1.50: W3 (Third Stage), O/B Zoning, Humidifier, Dehumidifier
