If the thermostat is not appearing or updating the temperature on a Simon XT:
If the panel is an Interlogix Simon XT with a 2WTTS, the thermostat must be enrolled on AC power to appear on a 2WTTS. If a thermostat enrolled on battery power, it will not appear on the 2WTTS.
If the thermostat is not appearing or updating the temperature on a Simon XTi:
If the panel is an Interlogix Simon XTi, you may need to Update 2WTTS. To do so:
- Select Programming from the XTi screen.
- Enter the master or installer code.
- Select Interactive Services.
- Select Z-Wave.
- Select Update 2WTTS.
- Select Thermostats.
- Select Update.
This will request an update for the most recent info from the thermostat. Often, especially if the thermostat was learned in on battery power, you will receive a return message indicating Incomplete thermostat information. Please try again in 5 minutes. The panel screen should update within a few minutes. If it does not, it can help to delete and relearn the thermostat on AC power if possible or perhaps move the panel to be closer to the thermostat, or vice versa.
If the thermostat is not appearing or updating the temperature on non-Interlogix panels:
If the panel is not a Simon XT/i, updating the Z-Wave equipment list is recommended first, followed by deleting and relearning the thermostat if necessary. You may also want to ensure that the thermostat has not been put into auto mode locally at the thermostat but is learned into a panel or module that is not capable of reporting auto mode. If it is, the module or panel must be upgraded to accurately reflect auto mode usage.
If the panel is a 2GIG GoControl or GoControl 2 and you have performed the above troubleshooting, determine if the thermostat is appearing on the panel but not the TS1. If the thermostat appears on the panel but not the TS1, verify if the TS1 is the same firmware version as the panel. If it is not, upgrade the TS1 firmware to match the 2GIG panel firmware.
Note: There is no 1.12 TS1 firmware, so if working with a 1.12 2GIG panel, you will need to upgrade both the panel and the TS1.
