Z-Wave device names can be updated using the Partner Portal, MobileTech app, Customer Website, or Customer app.
Note: Only the Qolsys IQ Panel and the Qolsys IQ Panel 2 can update locally renamed Z-Wave devices to the Partner Portal, MobileTech app, and Customer Website.
To rename a Z-Wave device using the Customer Website:
- Log into the Customer Website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Manage Devices.
- Click next to the device to rename.
- Click Rename Device.
- Enter the desired name for the Z-Wave device.
- Click Ok.
To rename a Z-Wave device using the Customer app:
- Log into the Customer app.
- Tap .
- Tap Manage Devices.
- Tap next to the device to rename.
- Tap Rename Device.
- Enter the desired name for the Z-Wave device.
- Tap Ok.
