How to Rename Z-Wave Devices Using the Customer Website or App
Z-Wave device names can be updated using the Partner Portal, MobileTech app, Customer Website, or Customer app.
Note: Only the Qolsys IQ Panel and Qolsys IQ Panel 2 can update locally renamed Z-Wave devices to the Partner Portal, MobileTech app, and Customer Website.
To Rename a Z-Wave Device Using the Customer Website
- Log into the Customer Website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Manage Devices.
- Click the edit icon (

) next to the device you wish to rename. - Click Rename Device.
- Enter the desired name for the Z-Wave device.
- Click OK to save changes.
To Rename a Z-Wave Device Using the Customer App
- Log into the Customer App.
- Tap the menu icon (

). - Tap Manage Devices.
- Tap the edit icon (
⋯
) next to the device you wish to rename. - Tap Rename Device.
- Enter the desired name for the Z-Wave device.
- Tap OK to confirm.
