Qolsys IQ Panel 2: Enable & Adjust Panel Camera Motion Detector
The Qolsys IQ Panel 2’s built-in panel camera can function as a motion detector. When enabled, the camera creates an independent zone that detects activity motion. This feature is ideal for event-driven Alarm.com automation rules but does not report to the monitoring station. Motion events can trip once every 4 minutes.
Key Details & Limitations
- Requires light to detect motion (not functional in complete darkness).
- Only intended for activity monitoring, not emergency dispatch.
- No additional service package add-ons required.
