Enterprise Notices on Qolsys IQ Panel 2
Enterprise Notices let dealers send predefined messages that display locally on the panel. Messages are available only in English, and personalized free-text is not supported — you choose from default templates, some of which include limited parameters (e.g., dealer name, phone number).
Requirement: The customer account must include the Enterprise Notices add-on in the service package to access this feature.
Behavior & Limitations
- Messages display on the panel without tones or beeps when received.
- There is no remote “clear” action. Sending a new Enterprise Notice replaces the current message.
- Parameter fields may have character limits (shown as
String (##)
). The system does not validate character types—verify accuracy before sending.
Send an Enterprise Notice (Partner Portal)
- Log into the Partner Portal and open the customer account.
- Go to Remote Toolkit → Command Catalog → expand General.
- Click Send Enterprise Notice.
- From Message, select a predefined notice.
- Review the Body preview (formatting reflects panel version).
- If the template includes parameters (e.g., Have a question?):

- Click Send. Allow a few minutes for delivery.
Send an Enterprise Notice (MobileTech App)
- Log into MobileTech and open the customer account.
- Tap Remote Toolkit → Command Catalog → expand General.
- Tap Send Enterprise Notice.
- Choose a Message template and review the Body preview.
- Enter any required Parameters (mind the character limits).
- Tap Send. Delivery can take a few minutes.

Troubleshooting: If a notice doesn’t appear, confirm the Enterprise Notices add-on is on the account, the panel is online (Wi-Fi/cellular), and try sending the message again. To replace an old notice, simply send a new one.
