Factory reset an ADC-VC725 to its default settings

How to Reset Your Alarm.com Security Camera

If your Alarm.com camera is experiencing issues, performing a factory reset can often resolve connectivity or performance problems. Follow the steps below to safely reset your device.

Reset Procedure

  1. Using a pen or small screwdriver, press and hold the Reset button while reconnecting the power supply.
  2. The button will make a clicking noise when pressed.
  3. Continue to hold the Reset button for 10 seconds.
  4. Important: After performing the reset, leave the device plugged in and undisturbed for at least two minutes.

The reset button is located on the back of the camera. Refer to the device image for guidance.

After the Reset

If the camera was previously installed on an Alarm.com account, it will need to be deleted from that account before you can reinstall it.
