ADC-CSVR126: How to Factory Reset Your Video Recorder
The ADC-CSVR126 can be factory reset using either its local software interface or physical control buttons. A factory reset erases all saved footage and programming, so the device must be re-enrolled afterward.
Software Factory Reset
Use the local interface if you have access to the display and password credentials.
- Log into the local interface.
- Click the settings icon, then select System.
- Click Factory Reset.
- If prompted, enter the local display Password. (See Password Protect the ADC-CSVR126 Local Interface for help.)
- Click Next to confirm.
- Once the reset completes, re-enroll the ADC-CSVR126 into your Alarm.com account.
Physical Factory Reset
If you cannot access the local interface, perform a reset using the device control pad.
- Wait at least 2 minutes for the device to fully power on.
- Press and hold the Up button for 30 seconds, then release.
- Immediately press and hold the Down button for 30 seconds, then release.
- Wait approximately 3 minutes until the ADC-CSVR126 beeps, confirming a successful reset.
- Re-enroll the device to restore service.
After Reset
Once reset, the device will be cleared of all footage and programming. Re-enrollment is required to restore connectivity and service.
