Factory reset an ADC-CSVR126 to its default settings

The ADC-CSVR126 can be factory reset using its local interface.

Software factory reset process

Caution: All footage and programming is removed from the device after it is factory reset.

  1. Log into the local interface.
  2. Click Menu.
  3. Click System.
  4. Click Factory Reset.
  5. If a password is set for the local display:
  6. Click Next.
  7. After the reset is complete, re-enroll the ADC-CSVR126.

Physical factory reset process

Important: Wait at least two minutes for the video device to power on fully before performing the following procedure. The factory reset might fail if the device is still powering on.

Caution: All footage and programming is removed from the device after it is factory reset.

  1. Press and hold the up button for 30 seconds and release.
  2. Immediately press and hold the down button for 30 seconds and release.
  3. Wait approximately 3 minutes for the ADC-CSVR126 to beep indicating it has rebooted and successfully reset.
  4. After the reset is complete, re-enroll the ADC-CSVR126.
