The following table lists the user code compatibility by panel models and notes any firmware (FW) version requirements. The Number of digits in a code is the number of digits supported by Alarm.com to be in a user code.
Note: If a panel (i.e., NX or DSC PowerSeries) supports more digits and is changed locally to use more digits than what Alarm.com supports, there will be unexpected behavior.

Additional considerations
- All user codes on a system must be the same length. For example, if a panel was updated from 4-digit to 6-digit user codes in programming, all current user codes add 00 at the end of each code.
- Both 4-digit and 6-digit user code lengths are compatible with being updated remotely from Alarm.com.
