Yale Assure Touchscreen Deadbolt (YRD256) - Battery Replacement

 The Yale Assure Touchscreen Deadbolt (YRD256) requires four AA Alkaline batteries. 

To replace the batteries in a Yale Assure Touchscreen Deadbolt (YRD256):

  1. Remove the battery cover.

  2. Verify the bolt is in the unlocked position.

  3. Insert four new AA batteries.

    Insert batteries.png
     
  4. Reinstall the battery cover.

    Reinstall cover.png

Note: If the low battery does not automatically clear on the customer's equipment list, request an updated status from the lock using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app. For more information about requesting the status, see Request an updated status on Z-Wave devices.
