  • Three (3) AA Alkaline batteries
  • One (1) 9V battery

How to Replace the Batteries

  1. Remove the lock’s cover screws.
  2. Remove the upper left screw to release the upper battery tray. Hold the tray in place while loosening the screw.
  3. Once released, remove the tray and take out the three old AA batteries.
  4. Remove the 9V battery and disconnect its connector.
  5. Insert new, high-quality batteries (three AA and one 9V), ensuring correct polarity.
  6. Reattach the battery tray and cover, taking care not to pinch any wires.

Note: If the low battery warning does not automatically clear on the customer’s equipment list, request an updated status from the lock using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app. For more information, see Request an updated status on Z-Wave devices.
