Dialer delay settings
- Default dialer delay is 30 seconds.
- Minimum is 15 seconds.
- Maximum is 45 seconds.
Panic alarm forwarding
Note: These are panel programming specific and cannot be changed.
On the 2GIG GC3, the following alarms send immediately with no dialer delay:
- Duress code
- Silent panic
- Fire
- Medical
- Police panic
- Keyfob emergency
Adjust dialer delay time
The dialer delay can be adjusted using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.
To adjust the dialer delay using the Partner Portal:
- Log into the Partner Portal.
- Find the customer account.
- Click Remote Toolkit.
- In the Command Catalog, click to expand Arming Settings.
- Click Q39: Abort window dialer delay.
- Using the New Value dropdown menu, select either (0) 15 seconds, (1) 30 seconds, or (2) 45 seconds to indicate the desired dialer delay.
- Click Change.
To adjust the dialer delay using the MobileTech app:
- Log into the MobileTech app.
- Find the customer account.
- Tap Remote Toolkit.
- Tap Command Catalog.
- Tap to expand Arming Settings.
- Tap Q39: Abort window dialer delay.
- Using the New Value dropdown menu, select either (0) 15 seconds, (1) 30 seconds, or (2) 45 seconds to indicate the desired dialer delay.
- Tap Change.
To change this setting at the panel:
- Go to the home screen.
- Tap System Settings.
- Enter the installer code.
- Tap Installer Toolbox.
- Go to Q39.
- Enter the desired value.
- Exit programming.
Enable/Disable dialer delay for individual sensors
On the 2GIG GC3, the dialer delay can be disabled for individual sensor through panel programming or the Advanced Sensor Settings on the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.
To enable/disable dialer delay using the Partner Portal:
- Log into the Partner Portal.
- Find the customer account.
- Click Equipment.
- Click Sensors.
- In Sensor Management, click Advanced Sensor Settings.
- Using the Devices dropdown menu, select the sensor to configure.
- For the setting named Transmission Delay, click Edit.
- Using the New Value dropdown menu, select to Enable or Disable the dialer delay for that sensor.
- Click Change.

- Log into the MobileTech app.
- Find the customer account.
- Tap Equipment.
- Tap Sensors.
- Tap to expand Sensor Actions.
- Tap Advanced Sensor Settings.
- Using the dropdown menu, select the sensor to configure.
- For the setting named Transmission Delay, tap Edit.
- Using the New Value dropdown menu, select to Enable or Disable the dialer delay for that sensor.
- Tap Change.
