The language of a 2GIG GoControl is part of its firmware. An Over-The-Air (OTA) upgrade to a different language version can be sent using the Partner Portal or MobileTech app.

Language firmware can also be applied locally at the panel using 2GIG's upgrade cable and a computer. For more information about local upgrades, contact the manufacturer.

Note: Charges are incurred for OTA firmware upgrades.

To change the language displayed on the panel using the Partner Portal: 

1. Log into the Partner Portal.
2. Find the customer account.
3. Click Remote Toolkit.
4. In the Command Catalog, click to expand General.
5. In General, click Upgrade Firmware.
6. Using the Version to upgrade to dropdown menu, select the desired language with the available firmware.
7. Click to select I Agree to the charges listed above, then click Upgrade.

To change the language displayed on the panel using the MobileTech app:

1. Log into the Partner Portal.
2. Find the customer account.
3. Tap Remote Toolkit.
4. Tap  Command Catalog.
5. Tap to expand General.
6. Tap Upgrade Firmware.
7. Using the Version to upgrade to dropdown menu, select the desired language with the available firmware.
8. Tap to select I Agree to the charges listed above, then tap Upgrade.
