Panel signal strength can be requested from the Partner Portal, MobileTech app, and locally at the panel.

To find the signal strength using the Partner Portal:
- Log into the Partner Portal.
- Find the customer account.
- Click Signaling.
- In Signal Strength History, click Request Signal Strength.
- Click Send Command.
- After a minute or so, click to view the most recent signal strength reading.
The signal strength is reported in bars, from 0 bars to 6 bars, 6 being the best possible. Keep in mind that a sustained signal level of two or more bars is the recommended minimum.
To find the signal strength using the MobileTech app:
- Log into the MobileTech app.
- Find the customer account.
- Tap Equipment.
- Tap Communication.
- Tap to expand Communication Actions.
- Tap Request Signal Strength.
- Tap Send Command.
- On the previous page, tap to expand Signal Strength History.
- After a minute or so, tap to view the most recent signal strength reading.
The signal strength is reported in bars, from 0 bars to 6 bars, 6 being the best possible. Keep in mind that a sustained signal level of two or more bars is the recommended minimum.
To find the signal strength using the 2GIG GoControl panel:
- Go to the home screen.
- Tap Security.
- Tap Menu.
- Tap Toolbox.
- Enter the installer code.
- Tap the arrow to scroll to find Installer Toolbox.
- Tap Radio Status.
- In Signal Strength, it reports in internal signal level from 1 to 31, 31 being the best possible. Keep in mind that a sustained internal signal level of 9 is the recommended minimum.
