Monitoring Station dialer codes are led with either a 1 or E to indicate the event signal and led with a 3 or R to indicate a restore signal. The event history on Alarm.com always displays the codes leading with a 1 to indicate the event and 3 to indicate the restore.

- Types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (alarm), 7, 10 follow Burglary Bell Cutoff Timer
- Types 9, 14,16 follow Fire Bell Cutoff Timer
- Types 8 has no bell cutoff and will not sound external sounder if used
- Types 5 (trouble) system disarmed will cause trouble beep 6 per minute until silenced or restored
- Restores; types 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 14, 16, 24….. Restores depend on how swinger shutdown is set. For example:
- if swinger shutdown is set to two then the zone types above will send a restore if restores are enabled at bell cutoff or anytime after bell cutoff if the zone in question becomes good.
- If the same zone trips again no restore will be sent at bell cutoff even if the zone is good or becomes good; The reason for this is the zone can’t trip again during the same arming period because the swinger count of two has been reached.
- However when you disarm the system if the zone is good then a restore will be sent.
- If the zone is not good at disarm, a restore is never sent for the second trip.
- If swinger shutdown is set to one then restore will never be sent after the zone trips because the swinger shutdown count has been reached and therefore the zone can’t trip again.
- However if the zone is good at disarm a restore will be sent then for the trip while armed,
- if the zone is not good at disarm a restore is never sent for that zone.
Note: Types 9, 14, and 16 don’t participate in swinger shutdown so if the zone becomes good or is good at bell cutoff a restore is sent Type 8 since there is no bell cutoff for type 8 a restore is only sent when disarmed if the zone is good.
- if swinger shutdown is set to two then the zone types above will send a restore if restores are enabled at bell cutoff or anytime after bell cutoff if the zone in question becomes good.

Listen In to follow |
1606 000 |
This is sent on any alarm condition if two-way voice is enabled. There is no listen in sent for fire or CO and in fact if a listen-in session is in progress and there is a fire alarm or CO alarm the listen session is automatically ended. Also, if a fire or CO alarm is in progress, another alarm will not cause a listen in event to occur. The above is how the dialer works. ADC works similarly with the following exception; ADC sends listen in to follow even for fire but the panel never dials the call and tells the ADC back end that it should release the two-way- line. If a silent alarm or duress is sent the CS can only use listen in mode, VOX and talk mode are automatically disabled. |
