Alarm.com for Apple TV: Stream Cameras on the Big Screen
The Alarm.com for Apple TV app provides a video-focused experience, letting you view your security cameras in high definition right from your couch. Up to four camera streams can display at once, with automatic rotation for accounts with more than four cameras.
App Overview
- View all compatible cameras on your TV.

Compatibility
- Supports most Alarm.com cameras (except doorbell cameras).
- Live streaming is supported.
- Two-Way Audio is not supported on Apple TV.
- If a camera has Two-Way Audio and uses port forwarding, disable the microphone and speaker before streaming to Apple TV.
Requirements
The app requires a 4th generation Apple TV or newer. You can download it directly from the Apple TV App Store.
Installing the App
- Open the Apple TV App Store.
- Search for and download the Alarm.com app.
- Log into your Alarm.com account.
Changing App Settings
Adjusting Camera Rotation Frequency
- Swipe up on the remote’s touchpad.
- Select Settings → Switch in new camera after.
- Choose your preferred frequency (10, 20, or 30 seconds).
Switching Between Linked Accounts
- Swipe up on the remote’s touchpad.
- Click Settings → Select Account.
- Choose the desired account.
Locking a Camera Feed
- Navigate to the camera feed you want to lock.
- Press and hold until the lock option appears.
Logging Out of the App
- Swipe up on the remote’s touchpad.
- Select Settings → Log Out.
Switching Between Pan/Tilt Presets
- Press and hold the select button on the remote.
- Choose the desired preset.
