Stream Live Video from Cameras to the IQ Remote

Customers with a Qolsys IQ Panel 2 and IQ Remote can stream live video from compatible cameras directly to both the main panel and the IQ Remote screen.

Requirement: Live video streaming must be enabled on the main IQ Panel 2 before it can be extended to the IQ Remote.

Feature Requirements

  • IQ Panel 2 properly configured with live video streaming enabled.
  • Firmware version 2.4.0+ installed on the IQ Panel 2.
  • Panel programming set to allow “Stream Live Video Cameras to IQ Remote.”

Important Considerations

When streaming from the IQ Remote

  • The stream also appears on the main panel, but not on other IQ Remotes.
  • Only one IQ Remote can stream at a time.
  • The live video stream does not include audio.
  • Doorbell-to-panel notifications are not shown on the IQ Remote.

When streaming from the IQ Panel 2

  • The stream appears only on the main panel.

Enable Video Streaming Locally (at the Panel)

  1. On the main panel, tap Settings.
  2. Select Advanced Settings and enter the installer code.
  3. Tap InstallationInstaller Settings.
  4. Toggle Stream Live Video Cameras to IQ Remote to On.

Enable Video Streaming Remotely

Using the Partner Portal

  1. Log into the Partner Portal and select the customer account.
  2. Go to Remote ToolkitCommand Catalog → expand General.
  3. Click Stream Live Video Cameras to IQ Remote.
  4. Select Enable under New Value and click Change.

Using the MobileTech App

  1. Log into the MobileTech app and open the customer account.
  2. Tap Remote ToolkitCommand Catalog → expand General.
  3. Tap Stream Live Video Cameras to IQ Remote.
  4. Set New Value to Enable and tap Change.
