Configure the ADC-VDB770 Chime Type

The ADC-VDB770 doorbell camera allows you to configure its chime type to match the connected chime. You can also select No Chime if no mechanical or digital chime is in use.

Note: On firmware version 2052+, the chime type can be selected during AP mode Wi-Fi setup. If the option does not appear, adjust the chime type after enrollment.

Adjusting Chime Type Using the Partner Portal

  1. Log into the Partner Portal.
  2. Find the customer account.
  3. Click Equipment.
  4. Select Video Devices.
  5. From the Video Device dropdown, choose the ADC-VDB770.
  6. From the Chime Type dropdown, select the appropriate option.

Adjusting Chime Type Using the Customer Website

  1. Log into the Alarm.com Customer Website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. From the Video Device dropdown, choose the ADC-VDB770.
  5. Click Video Device Info.
  6. From the Chime Type dropdown, select the appropriate chime type.
  7. Click Save to apply changes.

Adjusting Chime Type Using the Customer App

  1. Log into the Alarm.com Customer App.
  2. Tap Doorbell Camera.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. From the Chime Type dropdown, select the appropriate chime type.
  5. Tap Save to apply changes.
