The ADC-VDB770 can be wired to a digital or mechanical chime.

Wire the ADC-VDB770 to a chime

On the power module, attach the white wires interchangeably to the FRONT and TRANS terminals on the chime. Attach the gray wires interchangeably to the transformer and the ADC-VDB770. On the ADC-VDB770, attach the remaining wire to the transformer.

Note: If there is a secondary analog doorbell button wired to the chime, the power requirements and wiring for the ADC-VDB770 are not affected.
