How to Add an Additional SkyBell Doorbell Camera
Customers can enroll as many SkyBell Doorbell Cameras as their Alarm.com video service package allows. If this is your first SkyBell installation, please see the SkyBell Doorbell Camera Installation Guide. This article covers adding additional cameras to an existing account.
Pre-Check
- Confirm that the new SkyBell Doorbell Camera is in Access Point (AP) mode (LED blinking red and green).
- If not in AP mode, press and hold the button until the LED alternates red and green.
- Verify that your service package supports additional video devices. If needed, update your package in the Customer Portal.
Steps to Add a SkyBell Doorbell Camera
- Log into the Customer app.
- Tap the menu icon.
- Tap Doorbell Camera.
- Tap the settings icon.
- Tap Add Camera.
Note: If Add Camera does not appear, the account may have reached the maximum number of video devices allowed by the service package. Verify and adjust the package as needed.
Installation Wizard
Proceed through the on-screen instructions to complete setup:
- Confirm the SkyBell is in AP mode.
- Enter the correct Wi-Fi network credentials.
- Follow prompts to finish enrollment and connect the camera to your account.
