Qolsys IQ Panel 2 – Dialer Delay & SIA Limits
Overview
Dialer delay determines how long the panel waits (in seconds) after an alarm before reporting to the monitoring center. Ranges depend on whether SIA Limits are enabled.
Dialer Delay Ranges
Mode | Default | Minimum | Maximum |
---|---|---|---|
SIA Limits Enabled | 30 seconds | 15 seconds | 45 seconds |
SIA Limits Disabled | 30 seconds | 0 seconds | 254 seconds |
Compliance tip: If your account must meet SIA control panel timing guidelines, keep SIA Limits enabled to enforce compliant ranges.
Panic Alarm Forwarding
The IQ Panel 2 treats some panics as immediate and others follow dialer delay. These behaviors are fixed in panel programming.
