Install a Micro SD Card

  1. Verify the camera is updated to the latest firmware.
  2. Locate the SD card slot on the bottom of the camera near the QR code and MAC address.
  3. Orient the micro SD card with the metal pins facing the front of the camera.
  4. Insert the card until it clicks into place.

Enable Onboard Recording (Customer Website)

  1. Confirm the micro SD card is inserted into the camera.
  2. Log into the Customer Website.
  3. Click VideoRecording Rules.
  4. Click Local Recordings.
  5. Click + Add New Schedule.
  6. From Select a camera to record from, choose the ADC-V515 (or desired device).
  7. Use the Select recording quality slider to set the preferred quality.
  8. Under Schedule recording time, choose:
    • At all times (continuous), or
    • Only during the following times (custom schedule)
  9. If scheduling, select the days and set Starting at and Ending at hours.
  10. To limit retention, toggle Limit the number of days to record and choose the number of days.
  11. Click Save.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • If recording doesn’t start, recheck that the SD card is fully seated and the rule is saved.
  • Higher quality settings use more storage; consider enabling the days-to-keep limit to manage space.
